Every July the School performs a Summer Show and I.D.T.A Awards Presentation Evening. Our Summer Show in 2022 the finale theme is Frozen. The Show will be held at Longcroft Theatre in Beverley. – 2 Shows 1pm and 5.30pm

 

In January each year our annual Pantomime is held. This year due to Covid our performance has been delayed, so our show date is Saturday 17th April 2021. There will be 2 shows that day 1.30pm and 5.30pm. Our 2021 pantomime is Aladdin which will be held at Hull New Theatre. What a fantastic opportunity for all Calvella students to perform at this wonderful theatre.

For these shows stage costumes are required, but please be assured we keep the cost to an absolute minimum by taking full advantage of the Studio’s large wardrobe and utilising the excellent costume hiring facilities whenever possible.

Summer School / Week of Musical Theatre and Dance

During the summer holidays we provide a summer school workshop. This is a fun filled week of dance and musical theatre. All age groups and abilities are welcome. At the end of the week the children will perform a small show to friends and parents in the studio. The summer school price includes all costumes and accessories needed for the show.

In 2021 our week of musical theatre and dance will take place week commencing 9th August 2020.

If Covid and Social Distancing is still around in the summer unfortunately there won’t be a show but we will provide parents with a DVD of the performance.
